Simone and Jonathan first came across each other on the dating application Raya in 2020, with the gold medalist performing the first move before sliding into his DMs Though Biles was not old enough to compete at the 2012 Olympics as she was turning sixteen and was born in the month of March, she was almost immediately chosen for the national senior team. Vogue announced that the couple got married on Cabo in Mexico on May 6. The couple gathered for their wedding at a resort with 144 guests, about two weeks following the intimate Houston courthouse wedding ceremony on April 22. Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens were the first couple to have their wedding ceremony in Texas' courthouses back in 2023, celebrated their wedding through the pleasure of a second wedding.
